Ali S. Dikmen

He was born in Istanbul in 1967 and graduated from Yıldız Technical University Civil Engineering. Our coach, who started playing chess at a young age, came in 3rd and 4th in Yıldız Technical University Championships and played in the universities league with the university team.

After starting business life, he turned to correspondence chess based on research rather than sportive chess due to time constraints.

In addition to his success in international tournaments such as the 2008 Asian African Championship Championship, he represented our country more than 50 times as a national player in the Correspondence Chess Olympiad, European Championship and Mediterranean Games teams.

Between 2002 and 2014, he served as the President of the Turkish Correspondence Chess Federation.

He received the title of 1st Level Chess Trainer in the Chess Coaching course opened by TSF in 2005.
