Microbiology

Microorganisms are commonly found with humans, animals and plants, and in the environment where these organisms live. Microbiology is the branch of science that talks about the properties of microorganisms that can be found everywhere, their relationships with each other and with living things, examines them in the laboratory environment and shows them to be isolated by various methods. Along with the formation of the world and life, microorganisms also formed. After the first people understood the concepts of air, water, earth and fire, which are defined as the four elements, they studied diseases and death. They thought that the issues they could not solve belonged to supernatural powers, deities, demons, demons, miracles and gods. Later, scientific and technological studies provided the formation and development of microbiology. Microbiology was able to reach its current level when the work done with simple magnifying glasses was replaced by microscopes. Microbiology deals with disease-causing and detected microorganisms.

While examining the disease factors, bacteria, viruses, fungi are examined by considering all of them. The general characteristics of bacteria, laboratory diagnostic methods and results, the diseases they cause, prevention, treatment and diagnosis are also the subjects of microbiology. In this context, in this workshop, students will start with cells and learn about the cell structure, DNA sequences, microorganisms in our environment, the development of microorganisms through AGAR cultivation, examination of fungi and bread molds, production and examination of yeast, and will learn by observing in a laboratory environment. Gifted children are generally interested in science; He is inquisitive and curious and shows a high level of interest in the structure of living things. With such workshops, students' interest in science increases and they are enthusiastic about obtaining high-level information on these subjects.

Cinema and Fiction

Cinema is the work of dividing any movement into parts at regular intervals, determining their pictures, and then recreating the movement by reflecting them on a screen in a dark place with the help of a viewer. All elements that make up a film such as cinema, dramatic structure, stage arrangement, play, speech, image framing and arrangement, camera movements, decor, lighting, sound, music, costume are used in the most appropriate way. In this workshop, children both learn how the films they watch and are curious about are shot, what techniques are used, and they also create their own films. In this workshop, which teaches how a movie is shot, what happens on the movie set, and how a script is written, it is ensured that students are interested in the art of cinema and become producer candidates. In addition to technical information such as the history of cinema and the pioneers of cinema, the effects of sound, color and technology in cinema, the intricacies of finding ideas and scriptwriting, the importance of music in cinema, character selection, the features of cameras, the use of light and sound, in this workshop; He shoots his own short films by experiencing the basics of acting, editing applications and filming with a camera. Since gifted students are children who are interested in art and like to use their creativity actively, they can develop and exhibit their skills in this hands-on and active workshop, and use their knowledge and skills in many fields in an integrated manner.

The English

Today, English is undeniably the most dominant language in every field. There are two important reasons for the spread of English all over the world. The first is the industrial revolution. The second is the migration from England to the new world countries and the initiation of the primitive regions to work. In both cases, the dominance of English continued and after this dominance it showed itself in the economic and political fields. As a result of the global expansion mentioned above, English has left its homeland and is now used by the whole world for communication purposes, as a tool for tracking information and managing information systems. According to this new function, English has now become a "lingua mundi". For this reason, English has become a world language with many uses and users, not for native speakers. English education in Turkey is still a problem for the vast majority. As a matter of fact, in English, which is tried to be taught as a set of rules, the basic language skills of speaking and listening remain in the background; for this reason, even individuals who are thought to have learned the language cannot speak that language. Gifted children need vocabulary and concept knowledge, which are difficult and increasingly difficult in terms of language development, to reflect on and discuss verbal ideas, to think with possibilities, abstractions, metaphorical strategies, and to test them by putting forward generalizations. For this reason, activity-oriented, skill-based methods and techniques in language teaching attract their attention. This workshop focuses on the development of children's English listening and speaking skills with NATIVE SPEAKER, using poems, songs and movies, through exciting questions and themes.

APP Design

With the development of technology, the share of mobile in internet usage is increasing day by day. For this reason, the fact that companies, e-commerce sites, service providers and even blog owners are accessible on mobile and having an application emerges as a factor that makes a difference for them. In addition, thousands of applications, especially on phones and iPads, have taken their place in terms of both entertainment and making our lives easier. For this reason, application development for Android and IOS is one of today's serious business lines. In order to be able to make such applications, it is necessary to know programming and even have a command of at least a few programming languages. In this workshop, students will learn what an application is, examine examples of applications with different areas of use, prepare a simple application setup and code the application or code the application on the given setup. This workshop, which will direct gifted children to research and capture them both mentally and physically, will also prepare them for the 21st century.

Chess and Strategic Thinking

Strategic thinking is necessary to foresee the future, to take the necessary steps now, to create a vision for the future. According to a study, only three out of 10 professionals can think strategically. However, strategic thinking is necessary for the emergence of a creative and innovative planning. Strategic thinking is a skill that can be developed and gained as a result of difficult decisions and difficult experiences. Gifted children are usually quite good at strategizing because their thinking skills develop early. However, the child's strategic thinking ability can be further improved by informing the child about the components of this skill, giving the child responsibility, and providing the child with experience in forming a strategy. For this reason, in this workshop, children's attitudes and behaviors such as strategy development, planning, reasoning, attention and concentration, digesting defeat, and decision-making will be developed mostly through chess and intelligence games.

Gifted Education Network is a structure that cares about family education and therefore offers 3-session free training in addition to 12-week student training. Because it is known that as families change and develop, this situation reflects very positively on children, especially with these trainings, it is aimed to answer your family's questions and support their problems. It has been demonstrated by many studies that parents and their attitudes have a serious effect on achievement and overall academic achievement in different disciplines, from mathematics to foreign languages, from science to engineering (Bicknell, 2014; Turner, Chandler, & Heffer, 2009; Başol & Zabun, 2014; Bingham, Jeon ,Ah Kwon & Lim, 2014; Perera, 2014; Garn1, Matthews & Jolly, 2010). Effective families know that they will make a positive difference in their children's lives and therefore participate in their children's lives at a high level (Hoover-Dempsey et al., 1992).

Goal

While our summer and winter schools offer you the opportunity to get to know your child, with the programs they offer, the observations of our teachers, and the world-renowned standard tests they apply; on the other hand, it gives children the chance to spend time with science, art and sports in a fun way. In our programs, children's potential is challenged and their cognitive development is supported.

This program is the second "gifted education program" organized by four different institutions. The combination of 15 years of experience of different experts in the field, and the competent teaching staff in the field of academic and practice constitute our biggest difference. Programs are prepared by consulting at least three different experts, and students are ensured to enjoy all workshops. Participation Condition

According to the intelligence tests standardized in our country, children with superior intelligence will be accepted. Those who do not have an intelligence test can reach our institution; They need to take an intelligence test. Those who have test results are required to submit their intelligence test result reports to us. Test results before 2015 are not accepted.

Early Registration Fee

Early registration dates are between 8 SEPTEMBER-22 SEPTEMBER. It is 1500 TL including VAT. After the early registration period, the registration fee is 1700 TL including VAT. Programs are 50% discounted for Biltes College students. There will be classes in 2 separate groups at different times on each campus. Parents who wish can enroll their children in the 09:30 - 13:30 group or the 13:30 - 17:30 group.
